Penfolds Bin 128 Coonawarra Shiraz was created in 1962. It is a regional Shiraz made with fruit sourced from the unique terra rossa soils of Coonawarra.

Its style is a counterpoint to the more opulent and richly concentrated warm climate Kalimna Bin 28 Shiraz. It is matured in a mixture of new and seasoned French oak hogsheads for 12 months. The French oak provides length, definition and cohesion.

Inky garnet, Penfolds Bin 128 Coonawarra Shiraz has fine, grainy and tight tannins that mesh with its dark fruit flavours and savoury flourishes. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
